Short Stay in LA (“we,” “us,” “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

What we collect

We collect what you give us through the lead form, the earnings calculator, and any email or message you send us. That is typically your name, email address, phone number (if you provide one), property address, neighborhood, property type, and the details of your inquiry.

We also receive standard server logs from our hosting provider (Vercel): IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. We do not run advertising trackers, third-party analytics that resell behavioral data, or fingerprinting scripts on this site.

How we use it

We use your information only to respond to your inquiry, prepare an honest earnings estimate, and onboard your property if you decide to become a managed owner. We do not sell or rent your information. We do not share it with marketing partners. The only third parties that receive any of your data are our email infrastructure provider (used to deliver and reply to your message) and our hosting provider (which sees the server logs above).

Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for the site to function. No advertising, retargeting, or analytics cookies are set without your explicit consent.

Your rights (California residents)

You have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request that we delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any of these rights, email info@shortstayinla.com from the address you used to contact us, and we will respond within 45 days.

Data retention

We keep inquiry data for as long as needed to respond to you and for up to 24 months for legitimate business follow-up. After that we delete it on a rolling basis unless you become an active managed owner, in which case standard business-record retention applies.

Security

All form submissions are transmitted over TLS. Data is stored on infrastructure that uses encryption at rest. We restrict access to your information to the two of us (Nora and Vladan) and to any vendor strictly required to deliver the service.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If we materially change this policy we will update the effective date at the top of the page and, where required by law, notify users who have provided contact information.
