Business and Licensing Disclosures

A single page that consolidates the entity, contact, and California licensing information visitors and regulators may need.

1. Legal Entity

Short Stay in LA operates as [ENTITY: Short Stay in LA, LLC, to confirm], a California limited liability company. The California Secretary of State filing number and federal Employer Identification Number will be added here once the entity is fully registered.

2. Founders

3. Address

[BUSINESS ADDRESS: TBD, Beverly Hills, CA].

4. Contact

5. California Licensing

Property management of residential dwellings of one to four units in California is, in most cases, a real estate activity that requires a real estate broker license under California Business and Professions Code section 10131(b). Short Stay in LA operates under [LICENSING: BROKER ARRANGEMENT TO CONFIRM]. Once finalized, the responsible broker’s name, California Department of Real Estate (DRE) license number, and the structure of the arrangement (in-house designated officer, sponsoring broker, or otherwise) will be published here and in the global footer. Until that disclosure is complete, we do not represent to any owner that Short Stay in LA is currently licensed to perform regulated brokerage activity on the owner’s behalf.

6. Scope of Service

Short Stay in LA is a furnished-rental property management company. We are not a real estate brokerage representing buyers or sellers in real-estate transactions. We do not list homes for sale. We do not provide legal, tax, or financial advice. See our Terms of Service for the full scope and limits of what we do.

7. Trust Account

Owner rents and security deposits flow through a designated trust or broker-controlled operating account, segregated from our own operating funds, consistent with California Business and Professions Code section 10145 and CalDRE guidance for property managers acting under a broker license.

8. Insurance

We carry general liability and professional liability (errors and omissions) insurance at limits appropriate for furnished-rental property management in California. Owners we manage for are required to carry primary property insurance and liability insurance and to name our entity as an additional insured.
