Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

California law gives you the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell personal information for money. We do engage in sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. This page is how you stop that.

1. What This Means

Under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.120, you may direct a business not to sell or share your personal information. “Sharing” includes disclosing your personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising, even when no money changes hands. We treat our use of advertising pixels and conversion tags (Meta Pixel and Conversions API, Google Ads conversion tracking, similar-audience targeting) as “sharing” for this purpose.

2. What We Share

For the limited purpose of advertising and conversion measurement, we may share the following with Meta and Google Ads:

  • hashed email and phone (where you provided them);
  • page URL, referrer, and the event that fired (page view, form submission);
  • device and browser metadata returned by their pixel;
  • IP address (as seen by the third party at the moment of the pixel call).

We do not share full names, home addresses, or property details with advertising platforms.

3. How to Opt Out

You have three equally valid ways to opt out.

  1. Set Global Privacy Control. If your browser or extension sends GPC, we treat that as a valid opt-out for your visit and for the device that visit came from.
  2. Use our consent control.Open the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer and turn off “Advertising.” (Coming with our consent banner deploy.)
  3. Email us. Send an opt-out request to legal@shortstayinla.com with the subject “Do Not Share.” Include the email address and phone number you have used with us so we can apply the opt-out to any matching record.

4. Global Privacy Control

We honor GPC for both opt-out of sale (we do not engage in money-for-data sale) and opt-out of sharing. GPC is the simplest way to keep your choice across the entire web.

5. Authorized Agents

You may use an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. We will require the agent to provide written permission from you and we may require you to verify your identity directly with us before we respond.

6. Verification

For a simple opt-out of sharing we do not need to verify your identity. For requests to know, delete, or correct personal information, we may ask you to confirm the email address you used with us and the rough date or context of your inquiry, so we can match the right record.

7. No Discrimination

We will not deny services, charge a different price, or give a different quality of service because you exercise your privacy rights. See our full Privacy Policy for more.
