Email Marketing Disclosure (CAN-SPAM)

How we comply with the federal CAN-SPAM Act (15 U.S.C. § 7701 et seq.) in any marketing email we send, plus how to opt out.

1. Scope

This Disclosure applies to email messages we send to promote our services. It does not apply to transactional or relationship messages (for example, a reply to your inquiry or a billing receipt to a managed owner), which are treated separately under CAN-SPAM and are not subject to the opt-out mechanism described below.

2. Identification

Every marketing email we send identifies Short Stay in LA as the sender in the “From” line. The body of the message identifies us by name and includes a link to shortstayinla.com.

3. Subject Lines

Subject lines accurately reflect the content of the message and do not use deceptive header information.

4. Postal Address

Every marketing email includes our valid postal address: [BUSINESS ADDRESS: TBD, Beverly Hills, CA].

5. Unsubscribe

Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link and an explanation of how to opt out. We honor unsubscribe requests promptly and within ten (10) business days as required by 16 C.F.R. § 316.5. After you unsubscribe, we will not send you marketing email again unless you re-subscribe.

6. Transactional Email

Transactional email (replies to your inquiry, calculator estimate delivery, booking confirmations, monthly owner statements) does not carry an unsubscribe link because it is required to deliver a service you requested. If you stop responding to us we will stop sending.

7. Email Service Providers

We use Resend Inc. as our transactional email infrastructure. Where we run marketing email, we will use a CAN-SPAM-compliant marketing service such as Kit (formerly ConvertKit), Postmark, or similar. We list every provider that processes your data in our Privacy Policy.

8. Complaints

If you believe you received an unwanted message from us, write to legal@shortstayinla.com. You can also report violations to the Federal Trade Commission at reportfraud.ftc.gov.
